23–32° Brix reference range
Frozen, unsweetened açaí juice concentrate of Euterpe oleracea is commercially documented within a 23–32° Brix range. Other concentrates and puree concentrates may use different solids targets.
Bulk Acai Juice Concentrate is produced from açaí fruit (Euterpe oleracea), an Amazonian palm fruit valued for its deep purple color and distinctive earthy, berry-like flavor. Concentrated açaí is used in smoothies, fruit beverages, functional drinks, dairy preparations, frozen desserts, confectionery, bakery fillings and specialty fruit systems.
Açaí (Euterpe oleracea) is the fruit of a palm native to the Amazon region. The small round fruits are typically about 1–2 cm in diameter and mature from purple to nearly black. Most of the fruit consists of a large seed surrounded by a relatively thin edible pulp layer.
Unlike conventional sweet berries, açaí pulp has a more complex sensory profile that can be described as earthy, berry-like and mildly tart, with natural lipid content contributing to its distinctive mouthfeel. The deep purple appearance is associated primarily with anthocyanin pigments.
Commercial juice concentrate is produced after pulp extraction, screening or clarification and water removal. Product style can vary substantially according to the amount of pulp and lipid removed, concentration level and whether the concentrate is supplied clarified or with retained suspended solids.
Açaí concentrate is not standardized around one universal concentration or solids profile. Buyers should qualify the exact product for Brix, pH, color, suspended solids, sensory character, ingredient statement and storage condition.
Frozen, unsweetened açaí juice concentrate of Euterpe oleracea is commercially documented within a 23–32° Brix range. Other concentrates and puree concentrates may use different solids targets.
Clarified concentrate can reduce lipids, haze and insoluble solids, while less-filtered products retain more natural pulp character. Specify turbidity, sediment and pulp expectations in the RFQ.
Color is a major commercial quality parameter. Anthocyanin concentration, clarification, heat treatment, oxygen exposure and storage conditions influence final color intensity and stability.
Confirm current pH and titratable acidity rather than applying a generic range. These values influence flavor balance, processing conditions and compatibility with other beverage or food ingredients.
Commercial material should show clean açaí character without fermented, oxidized, excessively cooked or otherwise objectionable notes. Sample approval is recommended for açaí-forward products.
Specifications may include total count, yeast, mold and relevant pathogen limits together with ingredient, origin, residue, certification and traceability documentation.
Açaí concentrate is used primarily where manufacturers want concentrated dark-purple fruit character, recognizable açaí flavor and efficient liquid dosing in beverage, dairy, dessert and formulated-food systems.
Used in smoothies, juice blends, wellness beverages, energy drinks and fruit-based functional products, commonly blended with banana, blueberry, strawberry, grape or other tropical fruits.
Suitable for yogurt fruit preparations, cultured beverages and plant-based dairy alternatives where concentrated fruit flavor and purple color are desired.
Used in frozen desserts, sorbet, frozen beverage bases and açaí-style bowl formulations where strong fruit character and dark coloration are important.
Applicable to gummies, fruit jellies, chews and confectionery centers where açaí is used alone or combined with other berry profiles.
Can be incorporated into bakery fillings, dessert sauces, fruit layers and toppings where concentrated açaí flavor and color are required.
Used in fruit compounds, beverage bases, syrups and multi-fruit systems where manufacturers need standardized açaí character in a liquid format.
Choose the açaí format according to required fruit body, concentration, color intensity, storage system and finished-product application.
Package selection should reflect concentration, storage temperature, annual volume, production batch size and the manufacturer's thawing, pumping and mixing capabilities.
Suitable for product development and lower-volume production where available. Exact pack size and net weight depend on the supplier program.
Industrial açaí concentrate is commonly handled in drums or lined bulk containers. Commercial clarified frozen programs are also documented in approximately 200-liter drums.
Larger liquid formats may be available where concentrate stability, annual demand and supplier filling capabilities support tote or IBC handling.
Other bulk formats may be considered for qualified programs where sanitary transport, temperature control and unloading systems are compatible with the concentrate.
Include your application, target °Brix, clarified or pulp-containing style, color and sensory requirements, certification, estimated quantity, packaging, storage condition, delivery location and timing. These details help us identify the appropriate açaí concentrate program.
